About the Register
The Protecting Australia's Children: Research and Evaluation Register is a searchable database of Australian research and evaluation undertaken between 1995-2010. Since 2010, a limited number of additions have been made to the database when submissions have been received from services and organisations.
The projects and publications included in this Register cover a range of topics relating to the protection of Australia's children including:
- the prevention of child abuse and neglect;
- early intervention;
- child protection services;
- out of home care; and
- support for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
The projects and publications included in the Register were identified through a literature search and through details provided by researchers working in the field.
